The home's former attic space was converted to a recreation area, with plenty of space for games, movie night and quiet conversation.

A 7-foot mobile media center incorporates reclaimed wood. A 65-inch flat-screen TV and sound system bring state-of-the-art technology to rustic interiors. Old wooden stadium seats offer a spot to kick back, relax and watch the game. The chairs once served as seating in an upstate New York church. A century-old, 16-foot ladder, pulled from beneath Jacob’s Place barn, becomes a wall adornment. At the end of the room, the cozy reading nook offers the perfect spot to curl up. Library Game area: The room's game table incorporates an antique oak table and the home's original gutters, fashioned into channels to hold game chips. A loft space, features railing crafted from original corral wood and a custom ladder pairing Australian cypress steps with pine rails.
